Curtis Voelker saw his parents arrested in front of him at fourteen years old. He was asked to make a decision in that moment. Who could he spend the night with?

Curtis chose to stay with his aunt and uncle, not realizing that it would change the course of his life.

Curtis stayed with his aunt and uncle through his high school years. He made friends, joined clubs, and was asked to tell the world his story. His uncle believed that Curtis had found his calling.

Now working at Central Penn College, Curtis Voelker uses his story to inspire youth and teach them that nothing is off limits, no matter what tragedies you’ve faced growing up.
